Ian Chisholm is a well-known leadership educator in Europe, having served as CEO of the award-winning Columbia 1400 Community and International Leadership Centre on Scotland’s Isle of Skye. In 2003, Ian was asked to lead a groundbreaking task force in developing a more entrepreneurial and leadership-rich culture in Scottish education. He is co-creator of The Gemini Project, an intensive leadership development program that brings together senior executives with emerging talent from tough socio-economic realities.

In each of these initiatives, part of Ian’s legacy is a thriving coaching culture, built on a system in which leaders regularly and rigorously coach one another. Today, Ian brings his talent for leadership to the front of the room, where his unique giftedness in connection and story generates deep personal and cultural change.

Early in his career, Ian served at the American Management Association International, headquartered in New York City, where he played an integral role in bringing young talent from inner cities to experience formal leadership development. Ian is a graduate of United World College USA, The University of Alberta, and Strathclyde University, Glasgow. He is a trustee of Lester B. Pearson United World College. Ian and his wife Anne-Marie live with their family on Vancouver Island, Canada.
